A Cerb can be bought for Mondeo money,it cannot be ran on a Mondeo budget.Pound V Performance you can't beat a Cerb,10 times as much money can easily be spent to achieve similar performance.I have a Mondeo......and a Cerb.....and I know which one I would rather be driving for 20k.

It's mentioned just over halfway down the page on this article. I've never thought of it like that at all.. I just seen one parked outside a corner shop around 9 years ago and wanted it!

I think that TVR showed that it is possible to build a Supercar for sensible cash. It is a shame that the QA was not a bit better though, I'm sure they could have sorted out the obvious weaknesses with only a mild increase in the initial cost.

Atleast nobody disputes the fact that a tvr cerbera is indeed a supercar! And anyway how many poeple with a Ferrari have gone bankrupt in the past? Would those people be not described as poor in that circumstances?

Well, in its day you needed 'an F50, F1 or a pretty fast bike' ( (c) Top Gear magazine) to catch it, it handed a Viper and a supercharged vantage their a***s both for outright performance and handling in a direct comparison (there was also a Cobra in that test, but the less said about that the better) and the drama/exclusivity factor was there also... and it showed the Italians and all the would-be supercar makers with fantasy prices that if you have got to build something crazy fast and a bit flaky/temperamental, you'd better do it at a reasonable price to compensate for the ensuing running costs/heartbreak.

I have an old Top Gear, 2000 ish, which did a group test of , iirc, 550, 996t, vanquish, zonda, amg sl500? and a green red rose 4.5 cerb.
Sadly the cerb did not equate terribly well in build quality or handling but the comment on pace was amusing, something along the lines of "if you see this green monster in your mirrors do the decent thing and get the fk out of the way whatever you are driving". Its just easier that way!

Think they equated the engine noise to that of a lawn mower! Have that mag somewhere....
