Anyone on here local to bedford and planning a trip to Le Man?

I'm planning to go, but i've already had people drop out, (not even 2005 yet!!!!!), is anyone planning a convoy that wouldn't mind a couple of extra cars joining?

Wonder if you could get a special deal on the ferry tickets / Le Mans Tickets if we bulk booked ?

who's serious about this?

it would be a laugh to have a large convoy (plenty of back up cars if someone breaks down!!!!!!!)

looking at other posts it looks like we would need to book pretty soon.

numbers?

not at the same time obviously, you might spill precious alcohol!

I am going, fully booked up, we have 3 cars in our convoy but we would welcome more, A good map reader to lead the way would be helpful! .

We are going out on Thursday 16th on an 8:30 ferry from Dover-Calais, arriving @ Le-mans Thurs pm and camping at Karting Nord, returning on Monday 20th, with an 18:30 ferry home!

I think it's a great idea!

We're going from Dover at 07:45 to Boulogne Thurs but we could still convoy down. I guess if your going from Newmarket you'll do the M11 tho.

We'll be going the M1, M25, M2 way. Is there a service station on the M25 or M2 we could all convene at for some brekkie ? !!

On the M25 there is a Motel/Total station at the A12 junction, or there are the Thurrock services near lakeside (Last one before the tunnel!) There the only ones I know of as I don't go any further round than that!

I guess I'll be leaving around 5am from Newmarket!

Anyone know how long it takes to get to Dover from the Dartford Tunnel?

It takes roughly an hour for me to get to Dartford!

Looks like the 7:45 speedferries will be a floating car show !!
