Ok I am an old git and have an arthritic left big toe joint, but that means I am more aware than most of you that the clutch is on the heavy side. I appreciate it's a big engine, but have just been reading a thread about the LS engined Corvette ZO6 which is described as having a lovely light clutch "like a Ford Fiesta"

Any thoughts/suggestions on how to lighten the Chimaera one? I had a new clutch fitted in April, 10,000 miles ago. I think it was an AP one. It did lighten things slightly, but it still feels heavy to me. I long for a Ford Fiesta weight of clutch.

QBee,

I had a similar problem that was related to cesamoids in my left foot, pain when pressing clutch pedal. The solution was to move the fulcrum point 20mm upwards on the clutch pedal, then extend the clutch and brake pedal mounting point downwards.

Hence now I have a nice light clutch!

Thanks CS. I did physics at A level about 45 years ago, so will stick my head in the footwell tomorrow and see if I can fully understand how the instructions in your post work mechanically before making changes.
