Monoposto Racing Club 2014 calendar

The Monoposto Racing Club have released their provisional calendar. Its still provisional until regs have been confirmed by the MSA.
The main championship is 14 races over 7 weekends with 12 rounds to count.
The Tiedeman Trophy is a new 4 race mini-championship taking place after the end of the main season.
A new class for 2014 is Mono DTEC which is for standard spec Formula Ford Duratecs, cars as per FF regs, but tyres free and 500kgs minimum weight.
Even the cheapest cars such as the Formula Ford 1800 Zetec will lap at similar speeds to an Ariel Atom at a fraction of the cost.
Grids are healthy with the club regularly fielding 50+ cars, usually over 2 grids.
There is also a an award for novices, the Monoposto SUNBAC Nova awards, where the winning driver gets two free race entries for 2015 and runner up gets one free race entry.

All above meetings MSVR meeting except Thruxton which is BARC and is understood to be the British F3 weekend.
4 October - Castle Combe (Tiedeman Trophy) with CCRC
18.10 - Snetterton 200 (Tiedeman Trophy) with CSCC
Additionally there is a non-championship meeting at Spa-Francorchamps on the 27-29 June. Organising club is Roadbook and requires a National A licence, but is very popular and grid slots get booked early.

Some changes have occurred. The club doesn't anticipate any further changes but the calendar is considered provisional until the final regs are published following submission and acceptance by the MSA.
