LHD Conversion ???

Has anyone done a LHD conversion on a Griff ? If so how difficult was it ? Also any idea on the potential cost. Reason for asking is that I am currently looking for a Griff but might be moving to the Continent in a couple of years.

You can buy LHD Griffs, but expect to pay a premium for a good one. Otherwise, save up around 4K and contact TVR MADS re conversion.

Best place to look for a LHD is probably the Dutch TVR site (www.tvrcarclub.nl/html/occasions.html), Dutch TVR distributor (www.nimag.nl/nimag?nav=oyigHsHaPtMpJDD, nice 500 here) or Germany, about EUR 35.000 - 50.000, if you can find one.

Thanks for the help. Sounds like it is just much easier to get used to driving on the wrong side when necessary. The price difference between the UK and NL is quite surprising.

We've had ours out on the continent for 4 years now in its RHD form, and its quite easy to drive on the right with a RHD car (except that he tolls are a pain if you are on your own). This is especially true given the overtaking power of a Griff.

In fact, when I hire LHD cars over here I feel strangely vulnerable!
