Hi folks

Just thinking about events for next year and this was one suggested.

Would anyone be interested in a run-out and afternoon meal at Cheddar Gorge
sometime in mid-March/early April depending on the weather?

We could also visit the caves while there and if enough of us, maybe
get some discounts off entry - who knows?

Anyway, anyone interested? Obviously, no firm dates yet, but if enough
interested, I can look into options.

Cheers!

Question

Would people also be interested in visiting the caves? Group tickets cost about £14.50 and grant access to all the caves.

Usual price is £18.50 or £16.50 if booked online.

Just a thought if more than 12 people going...

Yes, if I can come I will probably bring a daughter or two and would like to show them the caves.

The Neil Garner open day is normally around this time of year and would 'sort of' be en route but I don't know what the actual date would be.

I'll watch this thread with interest and when a date is known, I'll let the Bristol TVRCC region know.

Folks

For those still interested in doing this could I have an indication of the following:-
  • If you wanted to visit the caves?
  • If you wanted to stop over at the Gorge for a pub lunch or something similar?
I'm still looking to arrange this, but I need input on the two above for those folks still interested in going.

I'll need responses by EOD 23rd of Jan.

If I don't get enough responses to make the event worth doing then I'll drop it.

This is not a TVRCC only event. Non-TVRCC members are welcome as well to this one.

The minimum for this event to get going will be 12 people/cars.

Thanks!

A

If there are others heading from the Midlands area I would be very interested as long as it does not coincide with Burghley on the 13th April.

Not interested in the caves viewing thing but nice pub lunch is for sure.

I need a date before I can commit but happy for a sat or Sunday.

I will probably bring a daughter or two so I think they should see the caves if possible but we have a cottage booked down there later in the year so could do caves then.

Relaxed really will fit in round others so long as the date is free.
