Long handled car wash brush suggestions please

I have given up on the Halfords one.
I'm on my second as the first one fell apart and the one I have now has got contaminated with brake dust and also falls apart. The head unwinds, however you try and secure it.

I have a bad back so can't bend to wash the car very easily so need at least a metre long handle on a good soft brush.
It doesn't have to have a water flow but I don't mind if it does.

I appreciate the detailing and washing purists will probably hate me for washing a car this way but nothing I will use it on is a precious vehicle so don't worry there.
I have two of the glove mops but my back can suffer for days afterwards if I use them below the line of the top of the wheel arches.

I'm also looking for a wheel brush that actually works - I've gone through loads of useless ones over the years and still end up going back to an old loo brush but the bristles are probably a bit too stiff really.
I can just about wash the wheels if I sit on a stool and stand up to stretch a couple of times each wheel.
