It's been a quiet day today. Not rained, not cold, but nice... Yesterday was a better day smile We live in what is sometimes described as a nanny state.. We get taxed, heavily. We're told how fast we can go, and how fast we can't go. Much of the tax we pay goes to those who can't get a job... or can't speak English.. I don't blame them... The benefit state is a wonderful thing.. The environment is important. We should all be doing our part to protect it. We only have this one planet, and it's precious. We have to think about our kids, and our grandkids, and then theirs too... It's not about us, we're just custodians... of hopefully a brighter future... This world is full of war, anger, and inhumanity, it's a rotten cess pit of greed and selfishness. A place where making money is king, regardless of the poverty, suffering, and terror that exists outside our protected little universe...

On a brighter note, I took beastie out for a blatt yesterday smile As always, a visceral experience.. the noise batters my eardrums, the acceleration is nothing short of brutal, and the combined assault on the senses is nothing short of sensational biggrin

So, if life's getting you down a bit, forget the less fortunate, forget the environment, sod the kids, take the Tiv out for a blast.. It's fecking awesome biggrin

Well with have millions of unemployed British people , All services Hospitals ,prisons,Police, schools are at there limits ,The people who come here have nothing ,they will be a drain from the day they enter the country to the day they die and you will be paying for it ..!

British people emigrate with money ,settle ,employ people and contribute .

Immigration does nothing positive for people living in the UK ,it only benefits corporations a who make millions from imports and exports .. Its a pay off and we are paying for it ..and will be claiming benifits they are not entitled to ,or should not be entitled to .. We are welcoming people from the bottom of the barrel .. thieves ! I don`t want then here .

They work the system and will bring this country down !

They are taking advantage of rules made by others to improve their standard of living and that of their families. If I couldn't get what I wanted or needed out of life in the country I was born in, but could get access to a country that made achieving my ambitions possible, I'd go there. Obviously this would mean people like Daz would label me a scumbag and wish me dead, but I suppose I'd have to live with that. Anyway, back to the cars..... smile

I`m not racist ,people should be allowed in to the country if we need them for specific jobs .If we need brick layers or Doctors we should let them in .

We will have a nation of low skilled/non skilled workers on low wages which means these people people will paying far less tax than they get in working /family tax credits .

Did you know it costs £100 for each time they go to the Doctors if they can`t speak English !

They must be a reason why the Government is doing this ,i think being in the EU all comes as a package so large companies and corporations go do there trading in Europe .

If i manage to make it to a retirement home I will be made to sell my home which costs me three times my loan, at todays rates of around £800 per week ,these people will get it free.

Its all wrong . rolleyes

We have been sold down the river .

I suspect more so (in 'real' life), because it takes some time to write and that in itself imposes a moderate amount of thinking, whereas our mouths will fly into gear at a nanoseconds notice eek
Goes for me too btw, engaging brain before mouth is a skill much to be admired, and one I do not possess in sufficient quantity.

I couldn't agree more.
Most of us would never blame an individual for doing the best they can for themselves or their family, where ever they come from or whatever their skin colour.

But, I think Daz's point of view, taken as a whole and removing the jokes, is lot less negative towards the people themselves, and firmly directed at successive governments and a system that has allowed excessive immigration into a country that is physically tiny, and immensely over populated already, and lacking the infrastructure to service the people that already live here.

Personally I don't believe that anger towards badly managed immigration is racist at all, it's just common sense.
Many other countries in Europe have very tight controls on immigration
