My Canon 5d3 seems to have more hot pixels when doing long exposures than my 7d which personally I don't think it should given the extra price and quality.
Does anyone know if there is a max no. of hot pixels that a camera should really have?
I've just been out doing some milky way stuff and counted 27 hot pixels on one image, something that I am not at all happy about.
However, my 5d3 has taken a good bounce from about 4-5 feet up in the air and a few tumbles. Would this effect the sensor at all?
