Technomate TM-7102HD Combo Twin Tuner sat receiver
Discussion
Anyone got one of these blind search receivers?
If so how do you rate the blind search facility?

Must have missed this sorry.
I have a TM-5402HD which, whilst being only a single tuner, looks to have the same software.
The blind search can be very slow, especially on a densely populated satellite such as Hotbird, but the stepping can be changed from 1MHz to 32MHz to speed things up. You can also alter what it scans, from FTA, All or TV. Mine's set on 4MHz and TV (no radio channels, as I get them from elsewhere)
I've just bought the TM TWIN OE which is a Linux based receiver, though not got round to setting it up yet.
I've had a few TM boxes now and no complaints here.
BTW, The 7102 should be a triple tuner, not twin.
ETA: You'll get a good deal from HERE.
