Problems getting GRID to work on Win7?

I've just bought GRID from stream and downloaded.

When I run it, I get the video at the start- then a blanks screen, with it asking me to create my profile.

I can see any boxes or cursor etc.

Any ideas folks?

Works OK for me on Win7 and Steam, have you tried running as admin?

That's about the limit of my IT expertise.

yup tried running as admin.

find it odd that the vid displays ok, but that the game screens dont
