Carcoon Veloce - Picture Heavy
Discussion
Unfortunately my garage is rather old, damp & dusty, and recently I have noticed that the Tam is often covered in a fine layer of moisture so I decided to look into the different storage options and decided on the Carcoon Veloce
The Kit comes in 2 x boxes, the larger of the two being the Carcoon and the other being the support frame. The fans are already fitted and all you have to do is stick on the filters.

You lay the Carcoon out on the floor where you want it, stick the box of poles inside and then plug it in. Slowly it inflates

Once it is fully inflated you have to open one of the zips and get inside quickly before it goes down. Once inside you put in the frame which takes about 20 mins. They give you DVD instruction disc, so I took my laptop inside with me so I could follow it.

I then ran a power cable in (the have zipped openings) for the trickle charger & hey presto time to put the car in

A quick wash later and she's in, and hopefully wont be covered in moisture from now on

First impressions are it is a nice piece of kit, well made and easy to put up. The power supply for the Carcoon also has a built in trickle charger for the car, though I already have one hard wired in.
I will report back in time if it cures the moisture problem

A Tamora in a durex;)
I used a completely enclosed system called permabag. https://www.autopyjama.com/permabag-uk/
Which I keep my race car in.Its on a covered trailer outside all year round it's uses cRechargeable Desiccant containers the draw the moisture and humidity in from the air in the air tight bag. Very 6 months or so you dry them out in an oven then place them back in the permabag.I've had it for 6 years and it works a treat and you get very little surface rust on stuff like Discs etc it's a really good system.I paid about £250 for it and it's faultless. I'm Not trying to say it's any better than carcoon but it's another option....the other benefit you can leave it out in the open and there's no power required
