PS4 Technical / advice thread

As the masses have now got or soon to get their PS4's like myself some may have issues, need tips etc on how to do certain things.
I haven't had a great deal of time to explore the menus and the OS but so far everything seems pretty straight forward.

To kick things off, could anyone help / advise me with:

I had a quick go on COD ghosts last night and while playing a message popped up saying downloaded (32gb!!!) so looked in notifications and it said waiting to install...... How do you actually install it?

I will be activating my 14day online trial tonight, what's the quickest way to do it? Just go into the store?

I'm pretty sure it should install by itself next time you fire up the game. That's how Killzone and BF4 did it for me.

Not sure about your other question, although if you have a code to unlock it you won't be able to use it just now as the whole 'input code' part of PSN has been down for a couple of days.

My useless tip is: when you have to type in text click 'R3' and you can move the curser by waving the joypad around. There's no need for the camera thing as it is driven by the internal gyros.
