Anti Theft device for Wing Mirrors!

Having played around with the wing mirror today (CX type) to stop it waggling, I noticed something behind the mirror glass with bothered me a bit. It looks suspiciously like a wasps nest - I can't think of anything that TVR could come up with that would look like this.

Have you managed to stop your mirror doing the "waggledance"?

You just need to give it a good poke with something pointy.

A quick spray with petrol and then a lighted match usually does the trick!!!! Maybe you might try a slightly more subtle approach first????

Incidentally, best not to tell too many people: there might be something in Health and Safety or animal protection which says you have to call Environmental Health, they then have get a specialist to do an assessment then call in a licensed wasp handler to move them, but as they may not be able to be moved out of the 'nesting' season you may just have to lay the car up for a few months!

Just be very glad it's not a colony of bats in there.

They have been awarded the sort of protection that should be accorded to the TVR S Series.
