I'm not sure how many 'old' vanquish readers there are on here. But if there are any, who havent been across to the AMOC website recently, you might be interested that Russell et al have organised a national "Vanquish day" at Works Services for next April. 21 cars signed up so far, so should be able to hear the rumble from some miles awaysmile

Come on, it's an Aston Martin! We chose them for their character and presence, not Porsche-level engineering (which itself isn't what it was). Even if true, at least they'd be heading for the Work Service for fettling....... laugh

The sound that day in Newport Pagnell will be awesome..... :-)

Dont think there are any vanquish owners here Rob, least not i have seen anyway.
i think it is down to the suave nature, good looks and hung like eey orr the donkey requirements of ownership of said glorious and ultra reliable cheap to run vehicle that dictates alas we are far and few between.

Not many of the Vanquish owners speak up on here Vanky but there are certainly a few here lurking and at least the word is being spread. We need a bit more than just a trip to NP though!

I'm considering attending. I loved my last trip to Works Service to collect Pa B's V12V so would love another look see.

It is a bit of a hike from Aberdeen though and i'm still not quite out of 4 numbers on the odometer yet!!!

Will see how I'm placed nearer the time but I know the other Vanq from Aberdeenshire who's going so would just tag along there.

i agree it cant be about just a trip to NP but sometimes some people lack imagination or just wont drive their cars anywhere. that cant be helped.
their car, their lives, their preference.
i live about 40 minutes from NP so you can imagine what a dull day that would be for a drive out.
i am waiting until everyone wakes up and says if they are coming on that date or not and then perhaps chat with the guys up north and do a run up there and come back down with them. maybe to the border or lake district or something or see if they are having a stopover
