2 months of crap to clean and gleam :-) a few pics

The pre-clean photos actually made me frown. It has come to that. I now get sad when I see a dirty Porsche.
Good job, though. I like the peridot.
A bird crapped on my car recently and I had to ask my wife to clean it while I was out. She listened carefully to about 10 minutes of instructions and did a good job. Now all I need is a teenage son or someone else I can pay to clean my car (and do it properly).

Did I see a high pressure hose??? Jesus......
yes, best way in winter to get the surface grit off before you get all manual with it.Also not sure how you are going to do the inside wheel arches and under the sills without one in winter when you have 3 or 4 mm of pure grit and dirt.
And I like to blast through my disks now and again to clear the holes of dust which causes the over heating then cracking.
Then on a car this bad it needed 10 buckets of water/shampoo, so used hose to rinse every bucket used, it normally only take 2 buckets so no need to rinse.
but it took 3 hours so the shampoo would have dried on making it hard to rise off later.
I did use snow foam, but that stage was just a pointless waste of time , it's very over rated stuff and not needed.
1st time in 2 years I got the snow foam back out, then I realise why I don't use it, it did not touch it.
Looks good if you are charging a client though, but a totally pointless stage.
there is no final finish or any wax on the car or even a detail spray, that's just a good wash and dry with dove shower gel for £2.
Pictures speak louder than words though, never used expensive stuff to wash cars or do many stages like the detail vids it's all pointless for show.
yes I use a wax twice a year, but watching detailers wash cars makes me laugh mostly, with all the stages they quote and do, but hay if you are paying some one £300 to wash your car I guess it has to be a 10 stage wash.
