Hi Guys
Picked up this GTD on Saturday.
2009 with 80k miles
DSG Gearbox
Heated seats
Dynaudio
Park Assist
Storage and light packs
Front and rear parking sensors
Storage Pack
Powerfold Mirrors
RCD510 stereo with built in 6 disc CD changer
Bluetooth
Handsfree (which somehow calls the emergency services even when when a phone is not connected and the SOS button is pressed)
First impressions? Good, very good. Once wound up it really rather quick, 170bhp and 258 lbs ft of torque.
DSG is good although not great at creeping, its a bit to eager to accelerate. We bought it primarily for my Girlfriend as all past cars have been my choice (FTO, Puma, 95 Aero, e39 etc) she loves it so I'm happy.
I don't think we are going to get anywhere near the quoted average MPG figures of 55mpg! Averaging 43mpg over the past 200 miles
Things to do:
Give it a good detail
Its due a service will get the DSG done at the same time.
Replace the tyres for a matching set, might try the new Rainsport 3s

I dont remember off the top of my head but they are a mix and match also 235 as apposed to the standard 225.Not noisy at all actually. I am just a Tyre snob and want good matching rubber. These wheel spin an awful lot up to 40-50mph.

In terms of road noise, I didn't notice them as being loud. Although I have only done around 200miles so far, the rest my girlfriend has.

I picked mine up at the end of September! A Candy White with RCD510 stereo, Powerfold mirrors and the Storage pack (ie underseat drawers and a net for the boot)
Done nearly 3000 miles already (despite it being in a garage for nearly 3 weeks due to being rear ended 48 hours into ownership)
Got OEM bluetooth fitted to mine the other day as well which was an essential, plan to get Cruise fitted in a couple of months.
Mines a manual and is averaging about 46mpg (calculated pump to pump) so 43 is about right for the DSG. They will do 50 mpg if you are really really light footed, but thats not the point in them!
Since these pics I have also fitted OEM mudflaps to try to protect the shockingly soft VW paint on my 60 mile a day commute!

Ah Thanks, just realised I have a few more options, RCD510 stereo, Powerfold and the Storage Pack, Cruise and Bluetooth and even the Mud FlapsI picked mine up at the end of September! Ha at least mine has something! I was aiming to get a top spec one but all of them pretty much were 09/59 plates or 12/62 plates, the former a little too old for what I wanted (seemed silly to pay 10k for a car less than a year newer than my previous car) and the latter were out of my budget.Glad to hear 43mpg is about right, was a little concerned. Yours looks great by the way!

I was growing impatient and this came along locally at a very very reasonable price for the mileage/condition at a dealer I had used before so couldnt turn it down.
Being a 2009 with bluetooth the module is probably fairly out of date but the latest modules are mostly plug an play (bar the odd anomaly) so if you find your phone doesnt work its not the end of the world to get it working

4k mile update:
I have had it serviced with VW, which was very reasonable with my Groupscheme discount at €89. Had the the front bumper resprayed by them too to sort some chipping and minor scuffs.
Detailed it too, looked great admittedly although with the recent weather its constantly filthy.
Still averaging around 44mpg, mixed driving 50/50 motorway and slow town driving, which isn't so bad i guess.
It has developed a low boost issue which is very annoying and is yet to be fixed or diagnosed properly, the Car goes into limp mode at rough 117kph on very slight too half throttle.
Other than that its great, Grips well, much more Nimble than my old e39 and quite nippy
