I’ve recently bought a 2013 M6 and quite like the idea of improving the exhaust sound a bit. I’m not so disappointed with it that I’d want to spend north of £2K, which I guess would be full system replacement, but I wondered if anyone has looked into a cheaper alternative that doesn’t invalidate any warranty etc.

Not looking for increased performance, just better sound

Supersprint figures are something....

Also BMW M Perf

but both alot passed £2k though!

18 30 2 344 071 Akrapovic M Performance exhaust system (£6,350 + fitting) must be ordered with 18 30 2 348 836 titanium tips or 18 30 2 354 801 carbon tips

Not sure what you can get under £2k and keep warranty although does the BMW warranty cover exhaust?

Speak to Hayward and Scott, maybe they can make up some back boxs for you

Hi op - my old M6 you tube clip, upgraded exhaust from CKS performance in Watford. Sounded really good under load. They also did my old DB9 Aston - decent prices and you can can tailor the size of the exhaust tips to your liking etc and have it as noisy or quiet as you desire. My M6 sounded the business with the new back boxes. Cost under a grand.....
