Google Maps now terrible - a decent alternative?

Since buying my new Google nexus 5 I have had the pleasure of the new google maps which is shocking. Takes me round the houses and on and off motorways and the longest routes ever etc. What's a good alternative? Happy to purchase an app and not after something cheap and cheerful.

Not satnav....but for work reasons Bing is 110% better for mapinfo

If it was me I'd look at TomTom - Android mainly because of the traffic. - you can find some info in pocketgpsworld forums - some reviews of alternative phone nav software but probably most are out of date

Have a look at Co Pilot Live, presently available for FREE on Play Store under the name of Co Pilot Live GPS. I've used CPL for several years on my tablet but when I got my new phone last year I couldn't download it without buying it again then the other day I spotted this version so downloaded it and it works well although I suspect the maps are a year or two old.

Another vote for Copilot, I used it around Scotland and Wales on big trips and it was superb. On my paid for version it gives you three choices of routes and you can even modify them yourself dragging the line from one road to another.
