Interior instrument panel bulbs
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Bit of a lurker here, very appreciative of all the help and advice that I've already got from you knowledgeable bunch
The bulbs on my instrument panel have all failed at the same time on my 1998 Chim; in other words, the bulbs for the tacho, speedo, fuel gauge, clock and oil pressure gauge. All the LEDs elsewhere on the dash, ignition lights etc. are fine.
My initial thought was a fuse but I can't seem to find the correct one on the fuse diagram in The Bible for my car (my fuse board is the same as the 98 Griff 500 diagram in the bible). Has anyone replaced it on a 98 car and know which one it is?
I want to avoid taking the dash off if at all possible since I've just had an interior retrim, which is why I'm hoping its simply a fuse! However, I'm aware of this connector that has been known to come loose as others have found, so I guess I may be trying to avoid the inevitable?!
