Reading Festival 2014
Discussion
Any other PH'ers go to Reading? It is local to me, so I go every year regardless of line-up, but it really has been going off the boil of late.
First 2014 headliners were announced yesterday, Blink 182. They were vaguely amusing at the back end of the 90's/early 2000's but I've always considered them a poor man's Green Day, hardly a legendary act that deserves to headline a world famous festival in 2014.

I was going to try to get tickets as I haven't been for about 3 years and my fiance fancied it, instead we're now getting married about then. I would like to see Blink, but I would rather avoid the rest of them. For the last few years, there have been about 5 bands I'd like to see and about 50 that are the reason I don't listen to Radio 1.
I stopped going in the late '90's when a) I became twice the age of the average punter (not hard) b) the game of 'burn each other tents' started up and c) whether you got a ticket depended on how fast your internet connection was.
