Am considering a 65 Mustang that has been completely stripped and rebuilt to a 2 seater road / race car spec.

Any general thoughts on future value or whether a worthwhile purchase?

Thanks in advance.

Have you not considered leasing a silver A4 TDI Sportline?

Obviously its not going to be as valuable as a mint original, but I'm sure it'll hold its value pretty well and would soon sell on if you wanted to.
Sounds pretty cool to me! One for the heart not for the head I think!

Give us a few days to digest all the details and get back to you wink

Value wise, probably a safe bet but I wouldn't be expecting it to fund my retirement or anything. Any 60's mustang is a worthwhile purchase, they're wonderful things.
Check the Mustang section of PH out, there's quite a lot of folk on here into them.

We'd need to know how much it is before stating if it was a good buy or not.

Sorry, typed in a bit of a rush.

Car is 100% full nut and bolt resto but has been ade into a 2 seat road race car. There has been no expense whatsoever spared on the car and it literalyy has the beat of everything. Think the car stands its creator at close on 180k if his time is costed.

Downside is that the car is not a shelby, its kind of a mish mash now and this is my dilema. Does somthing like this creation have a value or is it literally the sum of its components that make the value.

Thats where i was coming from.

I was asking a serious question so would request serious replies.

Many thanks.

Serious answer; probably neither. Certainly nowhere near what a 'proper' Shelby would cost, and only a fraction of it's component parts. IMO.
