Europe trip...
Discussion
I want a car for a trip to Europe next year.
No alps are involved but a reliable autobahn missile is preferable.
Criteria:
6 cylinder or more
Reliable
Easy to sell on return to the UK.
Under 8k to purchase.
I will only have the car for a few weeks so getting rid and not losing a house deposit in depreciation is important!

One cylinder short, but this would be my choice: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2013...
55-plate Volvo S60R. 300bhp, 155mph. FSH and taxed/MOT'd.

That 645 looks like a glorious way to spend a holiday! Or go old school,

Go for a classic like that sharknose 6.
Doing it in a classic is more of an event.
Insuring as a second car will be much cheaper.
Depreciation wont be an issue.
No reason they wont be reliable and if something does go wrong itll be much simpler to fix.
Theres a Twinturbo W124 Merc just appeared in the 1-5k thread, that would be pretty special.
