Yep. Some of you will be getting that version. We're experimenting with it.

It just comes up as gibberish now. Why can't you just leave it alone. Every few months they change something. Result is no classified for a week. I have given up on the classified section as a lost cause!

It's not working well for me (windows 7, internet explorer 8), is there a way to access the previous version?

Once into a filtered search (e.g. just by manufacturer) none of the filtering options down the lefthand side work, nor do the page numbers at the bottom work (they just take me to the top of the existing page) so I can only view the first page of results.

I can see it fine and its all working fine. I use google chrome, windows 7.

However the old classifieds in my view was better, this looks gimmicky, the bar down the left hand side (refine your search) is too large! The brand logos could be lost.

Saying that the model selection is now far clearer. If looking for specific cars I believe the new format works. Once looking at a specific model the larger photos and brief description are great!

Overall I think its a good update. Thanks

p.s. I spend far too many hours in the classifieds.

Possibly because they seem incapable of making the 'new' classifieds work properly, as the have never worked well for me.

Remember the fiasco when the 'new' classifieds were first rolled out?

Apparently they weren't tested very well..

To see the old classifieds, look for '?isexperiment=true' in the URL and change the word 'true' to 'false'

PH Dev team:

I came across the following bug

Browser: Chrome 31.0.1650.63
Repro steps

- Direct Type pistonheads.com/classifieds
- Arrive at search results, all vehicles ordered by 'newest with images first'
- Click 'classifieds' in primary nav
- Select a model from any manufacturer section (do not enter any search criteria)
- Attempt to change order from 'newest with images first' to any other option in the drop down

Result
- Screen refreshes but defaults back to 'newest with images first'

Expected
- Screen to refresh reflecting the new sort order

Excellent, but a pain-in-the-a**e if you change Categories (i.e. Parts to Big-stuff)

This is getting to be a joke, you're seriously letting a buggy development go live?
Where's the link so you can go back to the old format?
In this format, the sort function does not work on an iPad (only one of the most popular devices for browsing the web nowadays).
This whole layout is a serious devolution.

I'm rather enjoying the lack of reply from any 'official'. I'm imagining then all frantically tapping away to undo what should not have been done in the first place.

Chaps, change it back, you've 100% bad feedback on this topic.

A bit quick off the mark here, aren't we....?

The PH Board forum only looked at this yesterday and you were already rolling it out at the same time (albeit small scale)?

Poor show. We could have provided a short term beta test before you started to open it up to the masses. Instead, you jumped the gun and already it is receiving negative feedback....

Personally, I thought the layout was pretty good. The text size needs to be smaller, but generally it was ok. It is buggy though, which is why I'm surprised the 'powers that be' decided to give it a run so soon.

Classified work fine (chrome), not to keen on the size of the print/formatting but we always get used to changes like that.

There is one issue, every time i click on a picture and try to view full it says it's loading and then freezes in the greyed out loading phase and i can't do anything in that window.
