What did I see??
Discussion
This morning on the M11 (northbound, after the Duxford junction but before the Madingley Road junction, if it helps (maybe the owner is on here)) I saw a car on the back of a flatbed that caught my eye, mainly because it looked like it'd be huge fun and not cost an arm and a leg.
The fibreglass shell resembled a Hillman Imp or similar (from the front), I'd guess it was a tubular chassis of some description and possibly running a bike engine in the back. It's hard to tell without seeing it on the ground but it looked no more than waist-high and was sitting on those 4-spoke Revolution wheels and sticky rubber.
The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that it was built for hillclimbs as opposed to any other circuit-based racing but I'd imagine it would make a mega track weapon.
