My Mini Cooper S R56 is in for a service, filter, plugs blah (should have paid more attention) - it will be £369.17 sir.... EH?! Sounds like a lot to me. I know in the past this garage has given discounts almost without trying on servicing so I said it sounded like a lot, is that a standard "menu" price - to which he said he could probably get £50 or more pounds off.... yes please.

What are typical service costs for a 2006 plate car?

I had my r56 JCW a few months back
Oil & filter change
Air filter
Pollen filter
Coolant change
Brake fluid change
General check of all suspension and bushes
And fit s revised chain tensioner.
Etc etc
£375 all in and that was a big service with a specialist

I don't know where you are but I used to get mine done at Cotoswold Mini as they had a great discount program running.
