Wiper arm

Can anyone confirm what the wiper arm off an S3 is off. My driver side arm has just sheared, swapped the passenger arm over for now (its raining very hard),the car is my everyday transport. Checked through the forums and LeeBee suggested a peugot (sp?) 205, the local garage thinks a tailgate arm off an Escort may fit but the arm will need modifying. My nearest TVR dealer suggested fitting a Chim wiper arm and modifying the bonnet (WTF)! Any help appreciated.

Lucas usually keep a small stock of a few wiper arms to suit many vehicles, it's worth a try!

IIRC Mike V8Smith bought some arms from TVR Power, same as the Chim/Griff complete with spraybar...
