The Estoril wheelnut covers on my Chimaera are held on by a screw with 2 parallel slots in it. Other than using snipe nosed pliers and probably swearing a lot, is there an aftermarket tool available? Previous owner didn't have one:

Big screwdriver does the job, but the long term life of the chamfered edges concern me.

K4TRV has offered me one he has. That's what owners forums are all about. clap

I'd suggest you get rid and change them for some Leven ones.

Much nicer looking and a better solution that's less likely to rust and look tatty.

Or save 20 quid and buy these, bag of 5 M8 x 16mm should do the job from memory wink

and the natural stainless finish tones in better with the centres than a highly polished screw (imho).

I decided to take this suggestion. Another closer look at the screws showed one quite damaged (I got it off) and all of them corroded to some extent. On ebay, 5 x 16mm M8 allen bolts, £1.17 delivered! you have to order 5 and a spare is a good idea anyway.

Yes, they are easier to get off but no bolt would deter the most thorough thief. And I've lots of allen keys knocking about. Thanks for all the help / suggestions.
