I think the round one looks good. Why didn't you get them to put two on? If two 3" pipes fit through the body it would have looked awesome. I have two on mine but hey are smaller pipes. Yours now looks a bit like the 400 setup, but it does look good. Nice one Zig.

Hi Tony..The thought did cross my mind but as its welded on there is only enough room to fit one as you have to pull it all the way to the right of the opening to remove the rear pipe where its clamped…Although i maybe could of squeezed another one in...scratchchin

My appetite is whetted smile I may consider an oval one on my 400, I know it's not original....

I see what you mean about having enough room to slide the twin pipes into place but perhaps loosening the section prior to the tail pipe may have helped the assembly. Then once all is in place tighten up the clamps. I know its more work and more time and sometimes it's best to get the job done and over with. However, if it's good enough for the 400, it must look good, and it does. Well done.

I have twin 3" rolled tail pipes on mine and I really like them. Was like that from the factory but now I have a custom rear that goes under the diff but retains the original tail pipes. I will post a pic when I get time.

Under the diff Jon? Interesting.... wonder if Longlife would do that for me?

Here is a picture of mine. The rear bit is original mild steel the bit under the diff is stainless and matches up to a stainless silencer from a 400. When i get some money i will get the back bit made in stainless as well.

The pipes look awesome. Isn't the pipe underneath a bit low? Trouble scraping over humps etc?

Can one get rid of the underhang by going over the driveshaft or other route?

To be honest that was a concern but it is no lower than the silencer and so far I have never hit any speed humps. It was also dearer to go over the the suspension as there is more work involved. It sounds throatier as well.
