Hello, I'm now in the need of a new pvr as my humax 9300 seems to be on the way out. I only have freeview and I'm not interested in upgrading to sky or a streaming video over the internet package.

Does anyone have any suggestions on which model to buy? I like the humax, but there's a few Panasonics out there too. Also I have been known to transfer movies from the humax to my pc by taking the hard drive out and using 3rd party software to transfer it. This functionality built in as standard would be very nice.

Your recommendations would be gratefully received, thanks! smile

If you go on the Humax user forum there is software (to load to the Humax) to enable you to transfer recordings to your PC over a network. The software also gives other extra functionality.

I have the Humax HDR-Fox T2. Ex-demo units available at discounted price from Humax web-site.

Also Humax YouView DTR-T1000. Can record previous 7 days as well as 7 days into the future.

Humax HDR 1000S for around £220 is a great recorder with twin tuners and catch up tv.

How do you get it to record the previous 7 days?
