FFRR - 2008/9 or 2010 ?
Discussion
Apart from the obvious exterior styleing changes & the dash, are there any big differences between a prefacelift 2008/9 Range Rover & the facelifted 2010 model ? I have heard the wiring looms are different on the facelift ( possibly more relaible???? )
I'm looking to buy a facelift one soon, but trying to workout if the almost £8K difference is justified and wether in 4 years from now a facelifted model will actually be worth more than a pre

The 2010 facelift also brought adaptive dampers (called Adaptive Dynamics), option of adaptive cruise, dual-view screen, cameras etc. They are a bit sharper to drive, but if you're going diesel I'd pay more to get a 2011 4.4 with the 8-speed. The 2010 3.6 TDV8s don't have front Brembos either - just puny-looking cast calipers. 2010 petrol is obviously the 5.0, so a step forward.
The glitzy facelift looks far worse to my eyes, but there's a fair trade in tarting-up old Range Rovers to look like 2010-on ones, so I suspect there will be a value difference on top of the usual model year one.

One or two Im interested seem to have a couple of owners which I'm surprised about for a 3 / 4 year old car.
Not really when you understand the market.1st owner will often shift it on after 6-12mths. (When you have that much cash, who wants to be seen in a car older than 6mths.)
2nd owner will trade in at 3yrs old. i.e. End of warranty period.
