Series 2 wiper stalks/Indicators.

Hi Peeps..Just wondering..The switch gear on my S2 350i has the SD1 i believe..The headlight switch is on the steering cowl..(Tab type switch)..I take it that its part of the switch gear?…The 280i had a separate head light switch on the centre console…Cheers..Ziga

Mark, it's a separate switch but it clips into a square hole on the steel plate that holds the other switches together... if you scroll down this page you can make it out:

Thanks Ian…Doh…The one i got as a temporary fitment is wrong then…Is the wiring to it separate also as then i might be able to temporary fix it in place while my ones go off to Blingshire..

Looking at the notes for my car (can you tell they're near the computer ) the main lights switch has a separate 3-pin plug to the main loom.
