That'll be the Daewoo!

So no more Captivas etc. What will Chevrolet sell in Europe and the UK then?

I always thought it was an odd brand to stick on Korean cars. If Daewoo didn't sell as a brand, GM had plenty of other brands. Saturn sounds OK, but Chevrolet brings images of pick-up trucks, red necks and bad things happening in woodland to mind!

Hey boy, you got a purdy mouth etc etc.

I feel sorry for the dealers etc but really no loss.

Had a few as hire cars, awful, as if someone who had never seen a car before read a book with no pictures about what a car ahould have and designed one.
Wipers, 4 doors, a radio, a rear load space accesible through a hatch, some lights, somewhere to sit and some controls...

Definitely a good thing. I've driven a number of rebadged Daewoos over the years, and they were all hateful.

Yes but a car that costs £6k should nof feel 10 times worse than one that costs £10k.

I found the Kia Ce'ed to be a much better car that really punches above it's price. If I needed a new car on a tight budget that would be what I bought. The Daewoo / Chevrolet is not in a whole other price bracket but it is in a whole other class.

Hence my comment.
