Afternoon chaps. Bit of advice needed as I get a graunching/clunking noise from the diff/half shafts when I reverse. Its enough to make your nob go counter sunk. Fairly sure its the diff. Has anyone else had this and how did you resolve it.

Hi Baz, check the prop-shaft is not rubbing on the ex silencer
they run a tad close and most show witness marks
also check the prop UJ's by giving it a firm twist left to right no play should be present, CV joints generally thump/bang on brisk acceleration (old age/wear and tear) or crunch and rattle if the grease leaked out/dried out neglected
just a thought check the road wheel nuts are tight too along with CV bolts prop bolts etc
