Hi
Finally have taking the 'plunge' to write a few words here to say hi! I brought a mica blue / beige leather interior G reg S3 back last July. Had 57k on the clock and is in good shape.
The car has been given its seal of approval by a certain well known member from Oxfordshire - A dab hand at those shiny knobs! Having read various comments on this site, just like to express my thanks to you all for some helpful comments, especially V8 Smith ( who sold me two back tyres back in the summer!). Hope to see a lot of you at next years meet - can we beat 82 motors!

I once owned an S1 F reg back in 1990, the car had a light wooden dash board complete with black OZ wheels. I have seen pics on this web site of it at the August meet in Silverstone. Last three letters of the reg are THT - Just like to make contact with the person who owns it now, - just to say hi!

I will take some pics being a news photographer, but I want that interior looking special first. Perhaps this Xmas raffle you guys have got going, I could spend my 'winnings' (ha ha ha) on the interior with a certain 'top bloke' in Kidlington. Then it will look the dogs do dars!!!!

Hi Paul,
Glad to hear you are still enjoying the S and the tyres are still giving good service, welcome to the mad house that is the S forum. Look forward to seeing you at the next meet, shame you couldnt make the last one. Stick your name on the Xmas thread and hope you win so you can get the interior done, had mine done and its worth it!!!

Later

Mike

Hi Mike
Good to hear from you! You will be pleased to hear the 'Master' at Kidlington has given his blessing over my car, telling me that I have brought, 'a good'un!' which is satisfy to hear. Apart from a few extras, the only real problems since the summer, were changing the back tyres and the front springs and shockers which are being currently done by you know who! - Just leave it to the experts, that what I say! The previous owner has had it for the last five years, doing less than a 1000 miles per year! So it has been well kept. Roll on Aug and you may get the pleasure to see it (including the 'cockpit!') at the S club meet.
