Cayman 981 Phone Contacts Sync

Hi - anyone have any issue with syncing iphone contacts?

When I picked up the car a few weeks back, the dealer synced the phone and the contacts transferred fine. I've since been 'playing' and deleted the phone re-connected etc, and now can get the phone to connected to receive and make calls, but the contacts refuse to sync - it says "data transmission failed". Am I missing something?

Phone is iphone 5s (latest OS), car is Cayman 981 with prep for mobile phone, no PCM. iphone has sync contacts enabled.

I've never had to use any setting to sync the contacts. I just connected via Bluetooth and all the contacts as well as recent received and dialled calls transfer to the PCM. It just worked without any fiddling. Maybe uncheck the sync contacts settings in the iPhone and/or return everything to default settings, then reconnect?

Could be down to IOS 7.

It has banjaxed everything else, so why not this?

Not had a prob with my iPhone 5 running the latest IOS 7.0.4........in fact, linked it up to a loan car today without any problems.

Reset your phone....they are usually the problem!!

Yes, it was a phone reset issue! Slightly bizarre that the phone worked for calls, but not for contacts. Thanks for the help!
