OK so I hate spotted's normally, but was that my old Chinaera in Fort William on saturday the 30th October.
Quite a suprise, to see it 250 miles north of its last known home. Caught sight of it on my way home to Skye.

Sorry, can't help re your old car- but just surprised at reading that you live on Skye with a chimaera.

My father was from the isle of Scalpay (the one off Harris, not Skye) and I'd love to take the TVR up there.

Do the local fuel stops in Broadford or Portree sell super unleaded? (genuine question- don't mean to sound patronising).

My clan family seat is Dunvegan but I haven't been there for some years- and I'm overdue a visit to Harris to see family.

Out of interest, is there a garage on Skye that can service & maintain your car?

My Skye claim to fame is that parents met at a ball at Dunvegan Castle. Plus, I own a burnt down house in Eabost.

There's a 24hr Esso in Broadford and a Shell in Portree. I don't know if the Shell has Optimax though.

No garage on Skye does TVRs but they're a pretty resourceful lot! Take a copy of the bible and I'm sure they could work out how to get you home!

Taking Barbie to Cape Wrath via Skye & Harris/Lewis in May.

Once got a load of verbal from the Portree Shell garage manager for cleaning all the peat from the underside of my car with his jet wash.

I had a little off ... on the road down to Glen Brittle.

I will try to keep the Chim on the tarmac.
