Dear all,

I'm looking for some new front tyres for my Mx5 (185/60/r14). Unless any one else has other suggestions, I'm looking at the Yokohamas or Continentals. Has anyone had any relevant experience?

Typically I use the car on a mixture of roads, I'm looking for something with a perfomance edge that will last for at least 10k miles.

Many thanks,

Matt

(Although the rears can stay as Continential Eco Contact 5's, they're fun biggrin )

I don't know anything about the Yokos but I'm pretty sure I'm going for CPC5s next time around, they were introduced this year and have been at or very near the top of all the tyre tests I've seen.

Dunlop Sport Blueresponse and Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance are also worth looking at.

The premium contact is not performance orientated. You need to look at ContiSportContact 3 or 5 for that.

I don't know the Yoki, sorry.
