NFU are doing an insurance valuation on my Jeep using Ebay Motors Pro and I cannot find the vehicles they are using for a valuation of mine on ebay. Do all cars on motors pro get listed on normal ebay or is it a closed shop to traders?

Thanks

I can't answer your question, but you need to be able to replace your car with something similar.

You're not obligated to accept their offer, however they came by their valuation.

Motors Pro is ebay for trade sellers, the cars advertised on Motors Pro appear on normal ebay pages.

Thanks for that.
They have provided me with scans of ads from ebay motors pro but I can't find them on normal ebay which is odd. Seems they are using ebay for the price then adjusting for milage with glasses guide

Try change the search description, make it a little more open.

TBH Dont worry about trying to find the cars they are sending you, Just go to ebay,Autotrader and try and find cars as close as possible match to your own car, Mainly mileage and condition. Then send them to the insurance company. Its their duty to provide you with a payout that you should be able to replace like for like.

Problem is there are no Jeeps of the same age/spec with an LPG conversion fitted to compare to, only older ones or a much newer ones. Trying to put a price somewhere in between. Doesn't help the woman has been looking at none LPG converted Jeeps for the last week despite being told numerous occations it is LPG'd & registered & insured as such
