Game cancelled my order

I'm writing this to make others aware of the shocking texperience/service I've recently experienced with Game.
A week before launch I placed a pre-order for a launch edition Xbox One (with Forza 5) and a Thrustmaster wheel.
Both items were showing as currently available and the order came to about £800 - business you think they would be keen to have.
I entered by debit card details although payment has ever been taken.
As launch day got closer I daily tracked my order to find that my currently available Xbox was now awaiting stock and the wheel delivery turned into a countdown.
Late last week I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled with no reason given.
I sent an email to customer services asking why including a contact phone number and I've heard nothing.
Over the weekend I did once manage to start a web chat, but they cut me off.
So whilst patiently awaiting despatch I missed out on opportunities to get an Xbox elsewhere, but what infuriates more than anything is not being able to speak to anyone to try and resolve the matter.
It's now back to square one to find a retailer that has stock, now that the second wave of Xbox's should be in the UK, plus I've now missed the chance of a free Forza 5

Update - to be fair to Game I've just received an email this morning from Customer Services saying that the problem appears to be with my bank; they tried to take payment and the bank declined authorization (maybe this is a fraud protection thing as the moneys there and there was no problem taking payment for my GT6 order).

Not sure if correct, but I was in my local game on PS4 launch day to pick up a second hand copy of GTA 5 (because I am cheap and I can wait) and they had a notice at the door saying: Xbox One out of stock. PS4 shipment never arrived!
I wonder how many people turned up early doors to get one or turned up to get their pre-order! they had none, not even pre-orders. Embarrassing for them but I am sure probably out of their control.
