TVR dealer Mole Valley which has owned '100 TVR' for a long time, has just acquired the famous 'TVR 100' that adorned the TVR press cars for many years.

Clearly, these two motors (right) are new, more compact models of TVR from the Smolenski stable. PH has learned that they sport massive 698cc turbocharged powerplants, and hurl you from zero to 60 in a tarmac-rippling -- unmeasurably short amount of time...

I used to drive a Griffith 500 with the registration "TVR 1" which was owned by Portfield Sports and Classics. They also owned "10 TVR".

Selling "TVR 100" is a bit like selling the family silver! The number was part of TVR history. Does Nik really need the money?

I remember that, did you work there? I seem to remember it was on a Cerbera when I used to go there. At one time they were asking £30k for it Rich...

p.s. seems a pity that Smolenski has done this, it would be a bit like Porsche selling 911 HUL

I was loaned the car 1996 when I first got involved in the Tuscan Challenge. It is also like Bentley selling 1800 TU. There is a good profit numbers as "TVR 1" only cost them £8K! It was last on a TVR 440; although not registered on this car!!!

Did Peter keep ownership of "TVR 100" then sell it to Charles? Anyway it is a shame it has left the factory.

I was the original green smart car about 4 years ago when my Griff was in for a service.

drove round to bromley (thankfully shielded from view by the green tinted windows) cowering underneath the checked race flag decals, 100 TVR number plate and 'racy' body decals.

Was called all manner of abuse by a XR2 full of chavs and then when I went to see my customer he commented on the incredibly sad car he had just seen drive in to the car park. Didnt mention it was me.....
