Thanks to GlynV8 on the other thread for pointing this out - so so so so beautiful.

Ooh, looks nice doesn't it?

Then, as if by magic, this pic comes up.... BOOM! Manual.

Perfection. That car > everything else at £100k.

No need to hide in shame, the name still makes me giggle and I'm 36.

I can't think of a single car that could replace that DBS - not the new Vanquish Volante that's for certain.

Agreed it's high miles but surely they can ask that purely based on rarity?

Manual DBS Volantes are one of the rarest cars to come on sale!

26k at 3 years old!? What a shame and utter waste it would be for this car not to be driven. I would do that in a matter of months if I could afford to own it. driving

Completely agree, I would do that myself!

But generally these sorts of cars do less than 5k per year tops.

For a typical car, not too many miles at all. In fact, it would be considered slightly less than average. But for a DBS? Too many others available for the same price with far fewer miles.

Now, if you want a manual Volante, then you have to get what you can regardless of miles.

£100k.
Funny how almost every detail of the interior, is identical to the 'cheapo' 4·7 Vantage.

At least we can say, "It has a DBS interior".

I wonder if DBS owners say, "It has the base model interior"? -> smile

Read this before I saw the ad and expected the car to have 50k plus on the clock, but 25k is only just run in!! Will never understand why driving a car is frowned upon. Credit to the first owner, who has enjoyed the car and agree the price reflects its rarity and beauty.

The first statement, not the latter, since this interior debuted in the DBS and then was subsequently adopted by lesser Astons...biggrin

3000 miles in the first 3 months of ownership for me biggrin Helps keep the condensation out of the lights so saves money in the long run - maybe? They may be beautiful but they are actually made for driving, hard.

Yes I know.

While the DBS was still being built as the 'top' model, it just seemed odd to me (I am not complaining though) that us lesser mortals, could also have the same 'top' model interior, for far less money.

Well said Sir! Seems there's two distinct categories of Aston owners; Drivers and polishers!
This is by no means a criticism of owners that enjoy a good rub down in the privacy of their garage, but I can't resist the urge to drive mine at every opportunity time allows and especially in this centenary year when we must remember the reason for old Lionel and his mate building them in first place, to drive and race.

You can be both a driver and a polisher. The difference being, after a hard drive, on a polished car, it will come up looking gorgeous after a wash, where the others will just look clean and wouldve taken far longer to wash and dry.

Hat's off to Molly, that's what you're meant to do with them.....
