Any Cobra kit have a "flat" chassis ?
Discussion
I need long doors due to leg problems. Yesterday I spent ages with my A to Z of Kit Cars book looking for something that might be suitable for me. They are either rare or will be too expensive so the option I've thought of today is modifying an existing car (Q reg) and have turned my attention first to Cobra's !
Not such a silly idea as no BIVA as long as chassis untouched. That means I'd need to find a car with what I can only call a "flat" chassis. Something like this -

(This is an NG chassis)
Most Cobra chassis I can find pics of have a bulkhead attached to the chassis and of course lengthening doors would require this altering and thus back into BIVA so I'm searching for a cobra that either had a separate bolt on bulkhead / body subframe or full fibreglass body shell.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks.

I think the answer to your question is - any of the current batch of manufactures with the exception of Pilgrim. Although I'm not sure that you could extend the doors due to the leg of the windscreen running down from the top of the G/F scuttle. If you type GD Chassis/Dax/AK in google images you should get an idea.
