Photoshop Layer panel

Hi just wondering does anyone know how to enable fill on the layer panel, I only have opacity.

I'm using Photoshop Elements 9

I don't have Elements 9 but there are a couple of ways to fill a layer in Photoshop:

• Edit menu > Fill.. Will give you a fill dialogue box (shift f5 is the shortcut key)

• Or you can use the layer styles (double click on a layer (can't be 'Background')) and enable 'Colour Overlay' in the styles options.

I think the fill he is asking about is the one related to the opacity of an object with a layer style applied to it.
In Photoshop it is a 0 - 100% slider under Opacity.
I'm looking at it now but can see a way to turn that part of the Layer panel on and off
