Hi guys
Quick Q. What car are the visors from? Would the S Type fit the wedge?

Ford Capri Mk3. Something like these:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ford-Capri-Mk3-Sunvisors...

Look for all black if you can find them. If not, they can always be sprayed black. These ones are black and white.

I hope that helps.

One thing about the S...the visors go up and down only...makes it hard when the sun is shining from the side...

The Ford Capri Mk3 visors are the same ones with exactly the same fitting. Will go straight on. There are plenty of those around on the Bay.

Take the visor off the car. Pull the plastic ends off. Wrap black insulating tape on the pivots and force/push them back in. Then put the visors back on the car. That should do the trick and they should stay where you set them even over very uneven ground. Good luck.

The fittings come with the visor, which are the two plastic pivot ends, except the screws. You should be able to source the screws quite easily from a standard box of screws.

I just want to add that the quality of the Ford Capri visors may not be as good as the original TVR ones, but they are the same and they will fit.

One of the first things I did to my car when I got it was take the visors off! I found them to be a huge pain in the rear. Up, all sunshine blocked so you don't get the top town goodness and down you cant see anything!

Am I alone having no visors?!

When i owned Delilah i was thinking of something like this…..

http://www.google.co.uk/aclk?sa=L&ai=Ccyb82m-t...

Although more of a wind breaker than a sun visor..Also a rain deflector as she leaked just above the crotch area of the seat…Very embarrassing!..

Hi guys,
I've a fhc, and optically challenged! Can't always wear my lenses and don't have prescription sunnies, so could do with the visors. the motor doesnt have any fittted at the moment.
I'll go for the capri ones and see how they do.
