So what have you got.
I have haemochromatosis, in simple terms iron overload. I absorb to much iron, the opposite of being anemic. Bit of pita as treatment is via draining blood every week untill its near 0 iron content ( then maintainence which should be every 3 months but turns out I have a high absobtion rate so once a month, stupidly Ive left it for over a year so back on every week. Record is just under 8 mins for a pint but can take up to 40 mins. Veins are getting scared so harder to get that needle in, starts getting annoying when they go straight through or can't get it after several attempts.
Worst thing is 25 pints of good blood that I gave in 6 months first round all went in the bin. Nothing wrong with it apart from high iron content, the later ones were low in iron so don't see a problem. They won't use any of it for transfusion.
High iron doesnt sound bad but short terms makes you tired and aches in your joints, was killing trying to get up stairs. Long terms it kills your liver and other issues. Think how alcoholics go and its the same.
So come on share your issues, small or large.

Lovely...
I did something to a ligament in my leg whilst skiing in the Alps (first world problems I know), but it meant one of them was pulling to the side with a greater force than the other, and my kneecap was rubbing against stuff it shouldn't have. It can still play up now after 2 years, conveniently it did yesterday whilst lifting something heavy with someone else. They didn't appreciate me dropping it suddenly funnily enough...

I've had me heart attack, got Diverticular disease and just been diagnosed Diabetic.
Almost died from Asthma as a kid several times and had the obligatory nervous breakdown before I was 40.
On the plus side, I'm told that my pension will be paid at a much higher rate than a fit person; annuity rates are much better for those about to croak!

Terminal psioratic arthritis....well, was terminal but now called distal because people thought they would die from it.
Have to take a pretty heavy drug called Methotrexate. When I looked on line at the side effects the first one was "may include death"
Blood tests every fortnight to keep a check on my immune system.

I had something wrong with my kidneys, can't remember the name, but meant that the valve wasn't working and allowing piss back into my body. Lovely.
They spotted it when my mum was pregnant via the scan, had two ops when I was little. All fine now though. Apart from a scare when I was pissing blood a few years ago.
Also have had cellulitis, started off limping for two weeks, then unable to walk for a week. Was told if the rash spreads on my foot, even a little bit (Drew a line around it) to go up to A&E.
20/30 minutes it was taking me to walk from my room to the bathroom. All eight foot!
Never want that again.

Had myocarditis and pneumonia when at Uni - went from being a national champion at sport to being unable to walk to the toilet. Recovering from that I finally got back to playing rugby, and ended up on the wrong side of a spear tackle, and ripped my shoulder out of my back (fixed it last year with a modified Weaver-Dunn). I've got 10% of my left kneecap in my bedside draw...
So far my broken bones list is: Skull, neck (x2), back. L elbow, R wrist. All fingers. Nose, jaw, teeth. R shoulder, a few ribs. Dislocated L hip (undiagnosed for six months). Both knees, both ankles, all toes. Minor bones in feet and hands. Not all at the same time, I hasten to add.
Never been in plaster though....
Oh yes - born deaf, deaf until the age of six. Multiple operations to fix that. Think that's it....
