I'm considering purchasing an E46 M3 convertible in the near future however.... I've not even looked at one yet and was wondering before I head off to view any what is the boot space like on them?
The main thing for me is can you fit a set of golf clubs in the boot with roof up and down?

Without removing the hood storage box the space is the same hood up or down.
I can get my clubs in the boot of my E46 convertible but my golf bag isn't that big. Can't remember whether I leave the drivers out of not though.

Sounds like it should be OK then. It's only a carry bag and there's no problem taking the driver out etc.
Thanks for the response smile

I had an E46 M3 Convertible for 4 years.

Normal size golf bag fits in the boot no probs with roof up or down (no difference to the size of the boot either way).

Take the driver and 3/5 wood out of the golf bag and they will fit in the boot also.

Get one.....Great car

Bought one just over a week ago and yep great car but I thought you could make the boot bigger once the hood is up as the black plastic bit it sits in at the top of the boot folds up to make more space, obviously when the hood is down you cant

I've got my 'man car' in the form of a Tuscan so this is a daily driver for me and the Mrs, she's not allowed to drive the Tuscan so this is her roof down motoring solution, which also gives me the fun of an M3 wink

Just looked at your profile Gaz1234 and found it quite ironic you have a picture of a 6 series convertible on it. Why not the 'mans' coupe! laugh
