Handbrake button vibrating noisily

It's annoying me now, a lot. It's on the overrun vibration, a really loud buzzing noise. Anyone had this and, more to the point, successfully stopped it?

If you have an aftermarket aluminium type thing, I recommend removing the button cover at least. I've no idea how the PO put up with it.

I get this on my aftermarket Leven one. I plan to u put something rubberized (maybe a bit of insulating tape between the handle and the button.
