120 Roll Film

I have just acquired a Mamiya 645 1000S but it must be 25 years since I had my last 6x6 camera. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what colour neg / slide film is good. I prefer a warm balance over cool and would prefer 200/400 ASA.

Also does anyone have preferences to processing at reasonable cost and do you get images on CD as well as prints?

Peak Imaging were good when I used them.

My personal favourite for colour neg was always Kodak Portra NC, both 160 and 400 versions (the VC variant was too over-done for my taste). I haven't tried it since became just Portra, but my understanding is that it leans more to the NC than the VC.

For reversal film, in the still-galling absence of Kodachrome, I like Fuji Provia and Kodak Ektachrome.

I use Peak Imaging, and they're very good.

I've been shooting my old Mamiya 645 recently with film (for Uni) and I've been impressed with Kodak Portra (both speeds) and Fuji Pro400 as well (from my local Jessops no less!)

I developed them at uni and will be scanning them in the new year - but I've heard good things about Peak as well.
