What to buy for 10k

[Auchincloss71]

Hi, looking for some advice. Want to buy an "interesting car". Must be auto, be able to seat 4 at a push, pre 2006, possibly convertible and not notoriously unreliable or shocking to service. The holy grail I know!

Thoughts and suggestions?

(Might wish to avoid main dealer for servicing though if cost is a consideration).
